Accessibility

Daily Arcade is built for everyone, including players who use a keyboard, a screen reader, or larger text. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the site, and we treat accessibility as a core part of quality, not an afterthought.

What we support

• Full keyboard play — you can play solitaire without a mouse.
• Screen-reader announcements for moves, draws, and wins.
• Large, high-contrast cards and adjustable text and card sizes.
• Reduced-motion support that respects your system setting.
• Clear focus outlines and generous touch targets.

Keyboard shortcuts (Solitaire)

• Arrow keys — move the focus around the board.
• Enter or Space — draw, pick up, or place a card.
• Escape — cancel a pickup.
• F — smart-move the focused card; D — draw; U — undo; H — hint.
• M — mute or unmute; S — open settings; N — new game.
• Ctrl/Cmd+Z — undo; Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z — redo.

Known limitations

• On small phones held upright, the seven card columns make each card narrower than we’d like. Turning your phone sideways, or raising Card size in Settings, gives you bigger cards.
• Dragging a card requires steady pointer movement. You never need to drag: tapping a card moves it to the best spot, and the whole game plays with the keyboard.
• Leaderboards and streaks need an internet connection; the games themselves play fully offline.
