Privacy Policy

Last updated July 27, 2026

This policy explains what information Daily Arcade collects when you play our games, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the choices and rights you have. We keep the least data we reasonably can, and we never sell your personal information. Plain-English summary first; details below.

Information we collect

  • Email address — only if you give it to us (newsletter signup, a lead form, or to save a leaderboard name).
  • Name — an optional display name for leaderboards, or a first name on some lead forms.
  • Phone number — only if a specific sponsor form asks for it and you choose to provide it. We do not call or text at this time.
  • A device identifier cookie — a first-party cookie that lets your games, saves, and stats work on this device. It is not tied to your name unless you tell us who you are.
  • Gameplay events — anonymous, aggregate signals like games started and completed, used to run and improve the games.
  • IP address — collected briefly for security and fraud prevention.
  • Ad interaction data and campaign details — including advertising click identifiers (such as a Google gclid) and campaign tags (UTM parameters) when you arrive from an ad, so we can measure whether our advertising works.
  • Adult-offer eligibility — if an optional promotion is restricted to adults, we may ask you to confirm that you meet the stated minimum age. We do not ask for your date of birth on these forms.

How we use it

  • To operate the games, save your progress, and keep leaderboards and stats.
  • To send you email you asked for, such as tips, new games, the daily challenge, or a clearly described promotional offer.
  • To run our own clearly labeled sponsorships — we do not use third-party ad networks.
  • To measure our advertising so we spend responsibly.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the service secure.

Who helps us process your data

We use a small number of trusted service providers:

  • DigitalOcean — hosting and databases.
  • Cloudflare — content delivery, security, and bot protection.
  • Klaviyo — email delivery for messages you opted into.
  • Google Ads — advertising and conversion measurement. When you arrive from a Google ad and consent applies, we may share a hashed (scrambled) version of your email and an ad click identifier with Google to measure that ad. This may count as “sharing” for cross-context advertising under California law — see your choices below.

Google Analytics helps us understand traffic sources, page visits, and genuine gameplay engagement. Google Analytics may process your IP address, browser and device information, and a first-party Analytics cookie or similar identifier. We send only an allowlisted set of low-cardinality game details. We remove deal codes and unrelated query details, and do not send Analytics your name, email, phone number, player identifier, game seed, or free-form answers.

Some optional promotions may feature a related company or another advertiser. The form identifies the featured business and tells you whether information will be shared before you submit it. When a form says that Daily Arcade keeps your email, we do not transmit that submitted email to the featured business. If you follow an external link, that destination receives ordinary browser and referral information and separately collects anything you choose to enter there under its own privacy policy.

We do not send emails collected through restricted adult-product offer forms to Google Ads Enhanced Conversions, Customer Match, or similar customer-data advertising tools.

How long we keep it

We keep your email and account-style data while the service operates or until you ask us to delete it. Google Analytics event and user-level data are configured to expire after 14 months. Our first-party detailed event records are generally kept for about 90 days; summary statistics may be kept longer in a form that does not directly identify you. Records that prove your consent are kept as legal evidence for as long as required.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: know and access the data we hold about you; delete it; correct it; and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. You will never be treated differently for exercising these rights (non-discrimination).

We honor Global Privacy Control signals from your browser as an opt-out of sharing. You can also opt out yourself on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

How to make a request

You can reach us two ways: email [email protected], or use the form below. To protect your privacy, we confirm every request by email before we act on it, and we respond within 45 days.

Children

Our games are for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Optional adult-product offers are hidden until the visitor affirmatively confirms the stated minimum age, and we do not knowingly accept those offer forms from anyone below that age.

Changes
